The problems our client work was built to solve.

These are real launches for real businesses, not mockups. Each one starts with the situation, shows what shipped, and makes the outcome visible.

A calm, credible site for a Certified Academic Language Therapist

The situation

Turn newsletters and word of mouth into a credible, searchable home that the owner could update without a generic CMS.

What shipped

  • Custom public website
  • Owner-friendly content editor
  • Service and portfolio structure
  • Search-ready page foundation
A real online presence where there was none before — services, portfolio, and a way for parents to find her that doesn’t depend on someone happening to forward an email.
The fuller build story

Before this site, Capturing Literacy reached people through email newsletters and word of mouth — no real home online. We built her a website with her services and portfolio in one place, plus an editor built specifically around her, not a generic CMS, so someone who isn’t tech-savvy can update it herself with confidence. It’s a good example of how we work: take initiative, make real decisions, and still hand the customer a system they can actually run themselves.

An online home for a local knife business and its YouTube channel

The situation

Give an established video audience a real storefront, portfolio, and path into quoting, billing, and direct customer communication.

What shipped

  • Custom brand website
  • Product and portfolio experience
  • Search foundation
  • Connected operations system in progress
Even mid-build, with no links or mentions from the channel itself, the Nolan’s Knives name and solid SEO alone have pulled in hundreds of visitors who are genuinely exploring the site — not just landing and leaving.
The fuller build story

Nolan’s Knives already had a thriving YouTube channel bringing in customers. This site gave the business a real storefront and portfolio to match — and quietly, behind the scenes, a full system for quotes, billing, and chatting directly with Nolan that’s still being built out.

A portfolio site for a Huntsville cinematographer, with the tool to run it

The situation

Turn word-of-mouth work into a portfolio that clients can browse, and let Josh update it himself instead of sending files around.

What shipped

  • Custom portfolio website
  • Editor for adding videos and updating the site
  • Portfolio customized to his needs
His emails now link to one place, cinemashua.com, instead of large attachments or a single video. The site has brought in far more views than before.
The fuller build story

Cinemashua grew entirely through word of mouth. Work went out as large video attachments or as a link to a single YouTube video. We built a website that works as his portfolio, plus an editor so he can update it whenever he wants, add new videos, and shape the portfolio around his needs.

A simple, ad-free macro tracker that anyone can start using in a minute

The situation

Build a macro tracker that stays simple: no subscriptions, no ads, and no sign-up process beyond Google.

What shipped

  • Responsive macro tracker
  • Google sign-in with private data for each user
  • Saved foods and daily, weekly, and monthly totals
  • Home screen install for phones
Anyone can sign in with Google and start tracking right away. People have added it to their phones for quick logging, with no subscriptions, ads, or sign-up emails.
The fuller build story

A friend couldn’t find a macro tracker that was simple, free of ads, and didn’t push subscriptions and emails. Most options had too many features and too much setup. We built a focused tracker: sign in with Google, save your foods with exact macro values, add them to any day, and see your daily, weekly, and monthly totals. People have saved it to their phones so logging takes seconds.

Side projects built to test an idea.

Small experiments are where unusual interactions and practical shortcuts get tested before they ever reach client work.

Wifi Cayote — a Wi-Fi login screen with a sense of humor

A Wi-Fi access screen that forces a Rickroll before granting access. Built for fun, and as a working demonstration of network-level tooling.

Andy’s Macro Counter — a fast, no-nonsense macro tracker

A simple web app for tracking daily macros. Built to prove that focused software doesn’t have to be complicated.

Not client work

Not every project needs a flashy before-and-after. Sometimes the win is fewer unknowns, less rework, and a team that can stop chasing information.
